Carlton Scroggins, MD

Dr. Carlton Scroggins, known widely in the medical community, is one of the leading plastic surgeons in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. He is passionate about providing his patients with the safest, most up-to-date surgical techniques. We are elated to have Dr. Scroggins, whose full name is Carlton Scroggins, join the Mia Aesthetics team in Miami. We can’t wait to see his remarkable patient transformations.

Dr. Scroggins started his medical journey at The University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine. There, he excelled academically. As a result, he graduated Cum Laude with a Combined BA/MD in Biology and Psychology. He then went on to complete his 7-year residency. This included 5 years of general surgery and 2 years of plastic surgery. He rotated between the prestigious Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C. and St. Louis University Hospital, further establishing Carlton Scroggins in the field.

After finishing his medical residency, Carlton Scroggins went on to complete several different Fellowship Training Programs. During these programs, he had the opportunity to work side by side and learn from an array of highly trained and skilled plastic surgeons. This resulted in several publications and presentations given at medical conferences all over the nation.

Dr. Scroggins began his career as a surgeon at a private practice. Now, he boasts an impressive 25+ years of surgical experience. He specializes in a wide range of procedures. These include liposuction, breast augmentations, Brazilian butt lifts, and abdominoplasties. In his free time, Dr. Carlton Scroggins enjoys fishing, playing racquetball, trying new restaurants, visiting art galleries, and playing the guitar.
